Not sure where to start? — Let's talk about your project.
Start a conversationThe fastest route from idea to both app stores.
Expo is the modern way to ship React Native: cloud builds, over-the-air updates and store submissions handled by tooling instead of toil. We use it to take products from idea to live on both stores in weeks.
Why Expo?
Expo wraps React Native in a managed platform: pre-integrated native modules, EAS cloud services that build and submit your app from CI, and over-the-air updates that push improvements straight to users' phones. The overhead that normally surrounds mobile development — certificates, provisioning, build machines, release trains — mostly disappears. For startups and small teams, that's the difference between shipping this month and shipping this quarter.
And the old objection is gone: modern Expo supports any native module through config plugins and development builds, so “ejecting” is history. It's now the officially recommended way to start a React Native app, and it's what we reach for on most new mobile builds — because velocity compounds, and faster cycles mean faster learning.
Best for
Weeks
from kickoff to apps in both stores
OTA
fixes reach users without store review
Cloud builds
no Mac or Xcode wrangling needed
1 codebase
iOS, Android — and web when you want it
Expo solutions we deliver.
MVP Sprints
Idea to installable app in weeks — scoped tight, built properly, ready to validate.
EAS Build & Submit Pipeline
Cloud builds and automated store submissions wired into your repository from day one.
OTA Update Workflow
EAS Update configured so fixes and improvements ship to users in minutes.
Expo Router Apps
File-based navigation with deep links and shared routes across iOS, Android and web.
Push Notifications
Expo's push service configured with segmentation and analytics from launch.
Post-launch Growth Iterations
Weekly improvement cycles powered by OTA — learn, adjust, ship, repeat.
Why teams choose Expo.
Speed that compounds
Every cycle is shorter — builds in the cloud, updates over the air, submissions automated. More iterations win.
Native complexity, managed
Certificates, signing and store plumbing are handled by EAS, so your budget goes to features rather than ceremony.
Fixes in minutes, not days
OTA updates mean a bug found at 9am can be fixed on users' phones by 10 — no review queue in between.
No Mac required
EAS builds iOS apps in the cloud, so your team can ship from any machine, anywhere.
No ceiling anymore
Config plugins and development builds unlock any native module — Expo grows with the product instead of capping it.
Still just React Native
It's the same framework underneath — same ecosystem, same talent pool, and no lock-in if you ever move off it.

What it costs to ship and run an Expo app.
Expo apps run on the standard mobile cost stack, plus EAS for the pipeline. Here's the realistic list — click any provider for current live pricing. We configure all of it during the build.
Expo EAS
Pipeline
Cloud builds, store submissions and OTA updates — free tier, then scales with usage.

$25 one-time
One-off Play Console registration fee.

Backend
Auth, database and storage for apps that don't need a custom server.

Monitoring
Error and performance monitoring wired into every release.

Common questions,
honest answers.
Everything people usually ask about Expo before starting a project. Still unsure which platform fits your goals? Ask us — we'll give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
Ask a questionWhat is Expo, in relation to React Native?
React Native is the framework; Expo is the platform around it — pre-built native modules, cloud build and submit services (EAS), and over-the-air updates. Same apps, dramatically less operational overhead.
Is Expo production-ready or just for prototypes?
Fully production-ready — it's now the officially recommended way to build React Native apps, and countless funded startups ship on it. The idea that Expo is only for demos is years out of date.
What are OTA updates — and does Apple allow them?
Over-the-air updates push JavaScript-level changes directly to installed apps, skipping the store queue for fixes and content changes. Yes — both Apple and Google permit them for JavaScript updates within their guidelines, and we configure them compliantly.
What does EAS cost?
EAS has a free tier that covers early development, with paid plans as build volume grows — live pricing is linked below. It replaces maintaining your own Mac build infrastructure, which it beats on cost alone.
Do we need a Mac to ship an iOS app?
No — EAS builds and submits iOS apps entirely in the cloud. You'll still need an Apple Developer account, which we set up with you as part of the launch.
Can Expo apps use any native module?
Yes — config plugins and development builds let us integrate any native SDK: payments, maps, Bluetooth, camera pipelines. The old “eject to unlock” limitation no longer exists.
Is app size or performance worse with Expo?
Modern Expo apps are trim, and runtime performance is identical to bare React Native — because it is React Native, with the New Architecture enabled. We profile before launch as standard.
We already have a React Native app — can you move it to Expo?
Usually, yes — most bare React Native apps adopt Expo tooling incrementally, starting with EAS and then modules. You keep your code and gain the pipeline. We audit first and tell you what the migration actually involves.
Do you handle the store accounts and submissions?
Yes — Apple and Google accounts, listings, screenshots, compliance and submissions via EAS Submit. Launch means launched, not “ready to go figure out the stores”.
When would you NOT recommend Expo?
Very heavy custom native work — advanced AR, complex background hardware processing, or game-engine territory — where we'd go native iOS or Android directly. For everything else, Expo is usually the pragmatic winner.
