What are Core Web Vitals exactly?
Three measurements Google uses to score real-world experience: LCP (how quickly the main content appears), INP (how quickly the page responds when you interact) and CLS (how much the layout jumps around while loading). They're a confirmed ranking signal, and they also track closely with conversion.
How much can you realistically improve our Lighthouse score?
Most sites we work with go from the 40–65 range to 85–97. The exact gain depends on the starting point, but even heavily-built sites see dramatic improvement once the main bottlenecks are addressed — usually images, JavaScript bundles and cache headers.
Will faster load times actually increase sales?
In our experience, yes — and the effect is largest on mobile and on slower connections, where a slow site simply loses people before they see anything. We measure conversion alongside performance so you can see the commercial result, not just a nicer score.
Will optimising performance break our existing features?
No. Performance work is additive — we improve how things are delivered, not what they do. Every change is tested in staging and validated against real traffic before it goes live.
Can you optimise a WordPress or Shopify site?
Yes — those are two of the most common cases we handle. WordPress is usually slowed by bloated themes and plugin overload, Shopify by app scripts and unoptimised images. Both respond very well to focused work.
Do we need to be on a specific framework or stack?

How long does a typical performance engagement take?

Can you set up monitoring so we don't regress?
Absolutely — monitoring is part of every engagement. We add Lighthouse CI to your pipeline plus real-user monitoring dashboards and alert thresholds, so a regression is caught before it reaches production.
What if the site is too slow to fix and needs rebuilding?
Sometimes that's the honest answer, and we'll say so rather than bill you for optimising something fundamentally broken. In that case we'll show you the numbers and quote a rebuild so you can compare properly.
